Why don't the newsletters and other forms open ... ?

If you can't get the Newsletter, or Calendars and you are getting error messages when you try to view them, you probably need to install Acrobat Reader on your system.

To get Acrobat Read click on the yellow icon at the bottom of this page.  This will take you to the Adobe site were you can download a free copy of Acrobat Reader.  You will need to fill out some information before you can download your copy. 

After downloading Acrobat Reader to your system, you must install it.  Double Click the file that you downloaded to install Acrobat Reader on your system.  After you install it you will be able to view and print all of the "PDF" documents (newsletters, calendars, "Fatwood", brochures, and info sheets or instructions) that we have on the Troop 123 Web site. 

You only have to download and install Acrobat Reader once.  Once it is installed it will work on all PDF documents on the web.

My AOL mail has an attachment that won't open ... !

AOL's mail treats a link as an attachment.  This is the Troops "URL" (web address) an will not work in AOL.  At the bottom of the e-mail that we send you, you will find the Troop 123 web address.  It will look like this   http://www.troop123.org   or   http://troop123.org  You need to copy the Troop web address to the address bar in AOL.  The address bar is to the left of the "GO" button.  After you copy the Troop web address to the address bar, click the "GO" button and AOL will take you to Troop 123's web site.

How do I print a PDF document ... ?

When you open a PDF document in your browser or AOL, an additional button bar will appear.  Use the print button (Circled) on this bar to print the document.  See picture below.
