Our December Troop Campout is approaching. The weekend of December 9 through 11 we will camp at Camp Birch and spend Saturday earning the “Scouting Aviation Heritage Program Medallion”. Our day will include visiting historic sites of the Wright Brothers, including the world’s first airport, “Huffman Prairie Flying Field”, culminating with the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patt. A visit to the famous Young’s Dairy Farm is planned for Saturday evening. Cost to Scouts is $18, plus each Scout should bring $25-30 cash for lunch at the museum, and ice-cream/food at Young’s.
