This month our theme is cooking.
The Patrol Leader Council has planned our meetings around the cooking theme leading up to the campout October 18-20 where they will continue working with the scouts on cooking skills and where there will be a cooking competition. The location of the campout has been changed from Camp Falling Rock to Muskingum Valley Scout Reservation.
On Tuesday October 8 our Troop has been asked to present the colors and lead the Pledge of Allegiance at The Community Champions Recognition event. The Event is at the Columbus Athenaeum, the Masonic Temple downtown Columbus at 6:00. Because it is downtown it will probably be easier to transport scouts instead of meeting there. We will need at least three Scouts and two adults to make it work. If your scout is willing to participate in this event and/or you are willing to transport scouts/ be a leader please let us know by or at the meeting on Monday 9/30 so we can let them know if we can help out. We are not staying for the event so it will be a relatively short outing.
