The Rappelling Campout for the weekend of the 8th has been cancelled as all SKC camps are still closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Additionally, the Worthington Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.
We will continue to meet Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 via Zoom. Scouts, Leaders & Parents will receive the meeting invite via email. Class A uniforms should be worn. We will be working on Citizenship in the World (5/11 & 5/18) and Scouting Heritage (5/25) Merit Badges. The New Scout Patrol will be doing breakouts to work on Scout requirements including Cyberchip. There will be an opportunity for Scouts working towards Star to work on their Cyberchip, too.
As of this writing we still intend to be able to place American flags on Veterans’ graves at Greenlawn Cemetery on Saturday the 23rd, observing appropriate social distancing and wearing a face mask.
